Solution combines MissionX NeXus (MCX Core Services) and the award-winning MissionX Client Platform for Android with Mobile Tornado’s new front-end application and MCX Dispatch Console, delivering true critical communications prioritization to mission-critical users across Mexico from October 2026.

Mobile Tornado Group Ltd, a leading provider of Push-to-Talk over Cellular (PoC) technology, today announced a new Mission Critical Services Solution (MCX), developed in partnership with Frequentis AG and Nemergent Solutions and delivered in Mexico through long-standing partner Servitron. The service will be available to customers from October 2026.

Built on Award-Winning, Now Fully Aligned Technology

At the core of the new service is the MissionX NeXus (MCX Core Services) and the MissionX Client Platform for Android (former Android SDK) – recognised as “Best MCX Product or Solution of the Year” at the International Critical Communications Awards (ICCA) 2025 – awarded by TCCA.

Unlike proprietary Push-to-Talk solutions, the new service is built on open 3GPP MCX standards, enabling interoperability, future-proof evolution, and access to a growing ecosystem of compliant applications, devices, and services.

A New Front-End, Built by Mobile Tornado

Mobile Tornado has combined this technical foundation with a brand-new front-end application and MCX Dispatch Console, purpose-built to deliver an intuitive and operationally focused user experience to mission-critical users and control room operators, while preserving the full benefits of a standards-based MCX platform.

Deployed Over Mexico’s Altán Redes Network

MissionX NeXus, hosted by Servitron and deployed over the Altán Redes network, delivers true network prioritization for mission-critical communications. This ensures emergency and critical users maintain uninterrupted communication even during periods of network congestion and heavy traffic load.

This capability is a key differentiator between genuine MCX services and standard commercial Push-to-Talk (PTT) solutions, providing the reliability, resilience, and service assurance required for mission-critical operations.

Delivered Locally Through Servitron

The service will be brought to market in Mexico through Servitron, Mobile Tornado’s exclusive Mexican reseller partner since 2017. Headquartered in Mexico City and operating in more than 50 cities nationwide, Servitron delivers advanced telecommunication services to vital sectors including security, manufacturing, and transportation, under its branded solution TeamVOX.

The two companies renewed and deepened their exclusive partnership in late 2025, and this new MCX launch represents the next stage of that long-standing relationship.

What This Means for Customers

  • 3GPP-compliant Mission-Critical Push-to-Talk (MCPTT), built on standards-based technology – independently certified by the Global Certification Forum – to ensure long-term compatibility and protect customer investments for the future.
  • Genuine prioritization for critical communications over the Altán Redes network, keeping critical communications reliable even under network congestion
  • A newly designed front-end application from Mobile Tornado, built on decades of Push-to-Talk experience and optimised for demanding operational environments
