Mobile Tornado, a leading provider of push-to-talk over cellular (PoC) technology, today announced the signing of a new exclusive reseller agreement with Servitron, a prominent Mexican critical communications provider. This landmark agreement marks a significant deepening of the long-standing partnership between the two companies, originally established in 2017.

Servitron becomes Mobile Tornado’s exclusive partner in Mexico

Under the new agreement, Servitron will serve as Mobile Tornado’s exclusive partner in Mexico, expanding the reach and impact of its mission-critical communication solutions across the region.

As Mobile Tornado’s exclusive reseller in Mexico, it will be responsible for introducing the platform to new customers, providing local sales support and delivering ongoing technical service across the country.

About Servitron

Headquartered in Mexico City and operating in more than 50 cities nationwide, Servitron delivers advanced telecommunication services to vital sectors including security, manufacturing, and transportation, under their branded solution TeamVOX.

Its customers span government and public services, transport and logistics, industry and manufacturing, hospitality and tourism, and public and private security, reflecting the breadth of its national footprint across Mexico.

The company describes itself as Mexico’s only digital trunking radio operator, delivering a mission-critical network for public service across the country. Its TeamVOX platform brings together radio, cellular and Wi-Fi networks so that users on any of these networks can communicate with one another, giving customers a flexible route to modern PoC technology alongside their existing infrastructure.

Edgar Fajardo’s reaction

“Our collaboration with Mobile Tornado has delivered outstanding results since 2017, and we are proud to reaffirm our commitment with this renewed partnership,” said Edgar Fajardo, CEO of Servitron. “Mobile Tornado’s innovative and highly reliable platform enables us to deliver world-class communication solutions that drive operational efficiency and productivity for our clients, including MCX standard solutions.”

What Mobile Tornado said

The extended partnership underscores Mobile Tornado’s strategic focus on the Latin American market, which continues to present significant growth opportunities for its PoC technology.

“We are excited to strengthen our relationship with Servitron through this long-term agreement,” said Luke Wilkinson, CEO of Mobile Tornado. “Servitron’s commercial and technical capabilities make them an exceptional partner, and together we are well-positioned to meet the evolving communication needs of enterprises across Latin America.”

Why the partnership matters for Latin America

Mobile Tornado has more than 20 years of experience delivering PoC technology to over 150,000 users across 30+ countries, and Latin America is an increasingly important part of that growth story. By deepening this relationship, Mobile Tornado can bring its PoC and mission critical services (MCX) technology to a wider range of Mexican organisations through an established and trusted operator, without having to build a local presence from scratch.

Mobile Tornado is a British-owned company headquartered in Harrogate, UK, and its PoC platform delivers carrier-grade availability of 99.999 per cent, giving Latin American customers access to the same reliability trusted by mission-critical operators around the world.

For its part, the renewed agreement means continued access to a proven, continuously evolving PoC platform that can be offered alongside the existing TETRA, DMR and P25 radio portfolio, giving customers more choice as they modernise their mission-critical communications.

Showcasing the partnership at Expo Seguridad Mexico 2025

The announcement coincides with Expo Seguridad Mexico 2025, Latin America’s premier security industry exhibition, taking place from June 21–23 in Mexico City. Servitron will be showcasing its latest solutions at the event, including the Mobile Tornado platform.

Visitors to the stand will be able to see Mobile Tornado’s PoC technology in action, including live demonstrations of TeamVOX running on the platform, giving attendees a first-hand look at how the renewed partnership is already coming to life.
