Mobile Tornado partners with Instavox to expand in France
As part of the agreement, Instavox has deployed an in-country Mobile Tornado PoC platform, enabling it to deliver Mobile Tornado’s world-class instant communication solution directly to customers throughout France. Instavox serves a diverse range of industry sectors operating in demanding environments – including public safety and security agencies, logistics, transportation, rescue organisation and facilities management – where instant secure and reliable team communication is essential.
Through the new in-country platform, Instavox will be able to onboard, support and scale French customers locally, while drawing on Mobile Tornado’s wider PoC expertise and product roadmap.
Why PoC is gaining ground in France
PoC uses existing cellular networks (3G/4G/5G and Wi-Fi) to enable communication across cities, countries and continents, and improved network reliability and the widespread rollout of 5G networks has transformed what’s possible with cellular communications. Once considered a niche solution, PoC is now gaining widespread market acceptance as a critical communication platform for industries that rely on instant, reliable communication.
For organisations in France, this means access to a modern alternative to legacy land mobile radio (LMR) systems, without the cost of building or maintaining dedicated radio infrastructure. Push-to-talk over cellular (PoC) platforms typically offer a broader feature set than traditional radios, including real-time location tracking, messaging, and integration with existing IT and security systems, while giving organisations the flexibility to scale communication across sites, regions or the whole country as they grow.
What Mobile Tornado and Instavox say about the partnership
Luke Wilkinson, Chief Executive Officer at Mobile Tornado, said “I am delighted to formalise our partnership with Instavox. France represents a key growth market for Mobile Tornado, and this agreement marks a significant step in strengthening our presence across Europe.
