The Zain Iraq partnership
The company has signed a deal with Zain Iraq, part of the Zain Group, which has chosen Mobile Tornado’s Push-to-Talk over cellular (PoC) and live video solutions to support the management of workforces in the Middle East and North Africa.
Announcing the partnership, Laith Riyadh, Director of B2B at Zain Iraq, said: “We are thrilled to embark on this partnership with Guardia Systems and Mobile Tornado, which underscores our commitment to providing innovative communication solutions for our enterprise clients.”
Growing global footprint from new PTX partnerships
Mobile Tornado has also doubled its number of approved resellers, which has allowed it to grow its global footprint and provide its solutions to more end users in industries such as emergency services, oil and gas, hospitality, healthcare, construction, and utilities.
Via its network of channel partners, Mobile Tornado has entered new markets in the Middle East, The Gulf and The Nordics, and extended its presence in North America, Africa, and Asia, as businesses recognise the viability of PoC solutions to solve workforce management challenges. In total, Mobile Tornado’s technology is now available in 25 countries, with new PTX partnerships continuing to open up fresh regions for growth.
What Mobile Tornado said
Luke Wilkinson, Managing Director of Mobile Tornado, commented: “We have seen steadily increasing demand for PoC as businesses across multiple sectors recognise the value of the technology. The combination of 5G’s rollout, the global availability of broadband networks, and the need for secure, cost-effective communication solutions is driving widespread adoption. As more industries seek reliable, scalable ways to keep their teams connected, PoC is proving to be the right solution at the right time.”

New leadership and structure
As a result of the recent momentum, Mobile Tornado is undertaking a restructuring of its operational base and team structure to best support customers and capitalise on the market readiness for PoC technologies. Wilkinson has been added to the Mobile Tornado Board of Directors, while Nash Chou joins the company as business development manager for the APAC region.
“As we continue to expand our global footprint, the response from key markets has been overwhelmingly positive. Our recent customer wins and strategic partnerships highlight not only the versatility of our solutions but also the readiness of businesses worldwide to embrace next-generation communication technologies. We’re fully prepared to meet this demand, with a growing network of partners and a strong sales pipeline that positions us to support industries across every region,” added Wilkinson.
