Branded as “the critical communications one-stop shop”, IWCE brings together professionals working in mission-critical and business-critical communications from across the world. It offers companies the opportunity to showcase their communication solutions and latest innovations, to learn about new technologies, and to network with colleagues and partners from across the industry.
With our new live video communication feature and software radio bridge launching recently, we were delighted to exhibit at the show in Orlando, Florida. With our strong branding, the Mobile Tornado booth stood out from the crowd and our prime location (right next to the food hall!) guaranteed us good footfall throughout the event.
We designed our booth to enable us to demonstrate our push-to-talk over cellular and showcase a range of market leading PTToC devices. We were delighted to be able to demonstrate our our world-leading dispatch console and new live video communication feature.
With more and more businesses wanting to move away from LMR and DMR systems, there is a requirement for interoperability with push-to-talk over cellular technology so there was considerable interest in our new software radio bridge solution. Our new software-based solution utilises console interfaces that seamlessly connect our push-to-talk over cellular systems with traditional LMR and DMR systems without the need for a physical gateway and donor devices. The perfect solution for any traditional radio system owner looking to enhance communication capabilities and leverage the benefits of PTToC (also known as PoC and PTT) technology without replacing existing systems or adding another layer of hardware via radio gateways and donor devices.
There was considerable interest in our PTToC technology and the stand was well-received by visitors. It was great to meet existing reseller partners and device vendors, and also to meet new partners.
The show provided some great food for thought and interesting insight into the rapidly changing world of critical communications. It was well worth attending and we are looking forward to following up the connections we made at the show.
All in all, a fabulous four days of networking and exhibiting!
