What are push-to-talk devices?

Not to be mistaken with traditional two-way radios that use a radio signal to transmit voice communications over a short distance, push-to-talk over cellular devices, operate using mobile broadband networks. This gives push-to-talk over cellular (PTToC) devices many advantages over old fashioned two-way radios, including the ability to transmit multi-media files data, including videos and voice messaging, anywhere in the world.

Can you use the Mobile Tornado application on smart devices?

Yes, you can use the Mobile Tornado application on smart devices that have a mobile broadband connection. The Mobile Tornado application is available for both Android and iOS devices. You should consider the device carefully though, as while the software is compatible you may require a specific handset for the given service – for example, you may require screenless usage, rugged or weather proof devices.

Is the Mobile Tornado application compatible with Apple and Android devices?

Yes, the Mobile Tornado application (Instant Talk) is compatible with both Apple and Android devices. The application is available for download from the App Store and Google Play.
