To enhance safety, efficiency and productivity in their complex day-to-day operations, Leeds Bradford Airport chose to upgrade its existing two-way radio system to Mobile Tornado’s cutting-edge Push-to-Talk over Cellular (PTToC) solution.
This innovative technology allows for instant communication between individuals and groups across the entire airport. Additionally, Mobile Tornado’s dispatch console serves as a centralised command and control centre, facilitating the management of airport employees. The console enables location monitoring, employee tracking, and SOS emergency alerts, ensuring the well-being of staff members.
By adopting Mobile Tornado’s PTToC platform, LBA became one of the pioneering airports in Europe to transition from traditional two-way radios to this advanced cellular-based communication system.
The contract with Leeds Bradford Airport was won by Storm, a key reseller of Mobile Tornado’s technologies.
