Mobile Tornado was delighted to attend PMRExpo, Europe’s leading trade fair for Secure Communications, at the end of November. The event took place in the city of Cologne and was an opportunity for national and international exhibitors to come together and present their products, solutions and the latest innovations.
Mobile Tornado’s world-leading push-to-talk over cellular (PTToC, also known as PTT) solution was showcased on RugGear’s stand alongside their range of market-leading rugged devices. As well as demonstrating our PTT application, visitors to the stand were able to see demonstrations of our world-leading dispatch console – the only dispatch console in the world to support up to 64 simultaneous push-to-talk over cellular radio group sessions.
Also on show was our Radio over IP Gateway (RoIP). A standalone RoIP Gateway is a cost-effective way to integrate LMR systems with PTToC radios and smartphones to enable users to migrate from radio to PTT technology. With more and more businesses recognising that two-way radios are unable to meet their demands and wanting to make the switch to PTT, the RoIP is a perfect solution.
There was considerable interest in our PTToC technology which was well received by visitors to the stand. We were delighted to meet with our existing partners and device vendors, and also to make new acquaintances.
We are now looking forward to attending Mobile Congress World and Critical Communications World next year!
